About this item
The cable is flexible coax and fully shielded, which is what makes it equally at home carrying a subwoofer feed, a digital coaxial audio signal or a composite video run.
Please check what you are connecting, because it is the one thing to get right. This lead carries ONE channel. If you are connecting a stereo pair - a left and a right - you need two of these, or a twin lead instead. A single cable will carry half of a stereo signal.
Where a single channel is exactly what you want: a subwoofer is mono by nature, because the LFE channel is a single channel, so one lead does the whole job. Digital coaxial audio (S/PDIF) is also a single connection and carries a full multi-channel stream down it. And the yellow lead of a composite video set is one RCA on its own.
1.2 metres is the length for gear that sits together - a subwoofer beside the receiver, a soundbar under the television, a disc player on the shelf below the amplifier. A short lead means no coil of surplus cable behind the cabinet and less cable to pick up interference.
Fully shielded coax keeps mains hum and nearby interference out of the signal.
Not sure this is the right lead? This is a single RCA cable, 1.2m, plugs at both ends — a subwoofer feed, a digital coaxial link or a composite video run over a short distance. If the run has to cross a room, take the 3m single RCA cable. For stereo you need two channels: the twin RCA cable. To lengthen a single lead you already own, use the single-channel RCA extension. To feed two subwoofer inputs from one output, see the subwoofer Y splitter.
Still not sure? Use the Cable Finder — pick your console and it shows you the exact lead that fits.

Need to turn an RCA plug through 90 degrees at a matching socket? See our right-angle RCA adapter. This changes connector position only; it does not change analogue/digital signal format.
